There is a notice posted on my door that reads: "You are not required to be superior to everyone else. Only strive to be the finest version of yourself." Children learn at different rates and in different ways, so parental support and involvement is essential for successful learning in a happy, secure atmosphere. Children want to feel appreciated for who they are, not only for what they can accomplish. We commend their efforts rather than their outcomes. We were informed by the kids that they preferred hands-on learning. This is why we have a hands on discovery approach to learning - we have developed more inside and outside learning areas including the Intensive Curriculum Zone (ICE Zone), Outdoor classroom, sand pit, pond, meadow, farm, vegetable garden, yurt and flower beds. The kids' learning makes use of each of these areas. We sincerely hope you enjoy browsing our website and discover any information you're looking for. If you have any questions or if you would like a physical copy of any letter or document on this website, please don't hesitate to contact the school.
