People who visit the school frequently remark on how welcoming it is. We are a communal school that thrives under the direction of Jesus Christ's teachings. We collaborate closely with Holy Trinity Meanwood, a nearby church, as well as a number of other neighbourhood organisations. We cherish the contributions that each student makes to school life and place a high focus on developing contented and joyful individuals. Both socially and academically, we hold all children to the highest standards. Our goal is to give young people the experiences they need to become capable students, self-assured people, and compassionate members of God's family. It is our aim that at the end of their years' at Meanwood C of E, all children will have a sense of achievement and fulfilment as a result of their experiences here and will leave us for the next school as a flourishing individual . We strive to make sure that every child is accepted into the family through the way we love one another since we are first and foremost a Christian school. We always make sure that both students and staff have the chance to grow spiritually and emotionally through our Collective Worship and Reflection subjects, fostering a peaceful and nurturing environment at school. In the context of this, all children will receive teaching in Religious Education which, whilst having a multi-cultural element, will be mainly based on the beliefs of the Church of England. Although parents have the right to withdraw their children from Religious Education and daily collective worship, after consultation with the Headteacher, it is to be hoped that nobody seeking a place for a child in this school would wish to do so. To discover how we continually work to live out our principles, please read the website and look at our policies and curriculum planning.
