Thank you for visiting The Meads Primary School's website and for your interest in our school. We are a primary school situated in a stunning natural setting on the southern outskirts of East Grinstead. Based on our strong value-led ethos and curriculum focused on ambition, challenge, resilience, and community, the school's goal is to give kids the best learning opportunities so they can realise their full potential. As a UNICEF Rights Respecting School, we place a high priority on the opinions and legal rights of children. The children's learning is supported by our great outdoor learning environment. Our policies are designed to support the children to become citizens of modern Britain with a clear understanding of right and wrong and the development of responsibility in making the right choices about their behaviour, appreciating diversity and having empathy with others. Through a variety of elected councils and positions, students have the chance to assume responsibilities for their community starting in Year R.
