From the The Matthew Arnold School
I consider it a privilege to work closely with the children in our school community, their parents, the faculty at the school, and our colleagues and friends in the larger community. I am really proud to be the headteacher at The Matthew Arnold School.
Our results at all levels, but particularly at the GCSE, where we have shown steady year-over-year development, reflect a well-deserved Ofsted assessment of Good (June 2018).
For the third year running, we had the best results ever.
Please spend some time reading this detailed examination of the exam outcomes.
Our mission statement is "Students achieve every day," and teaching and learning are at the core of everything we do.
We are also unyielding in our demands; we anticipate complete attendance and full participation from every student during every lesson.
Specialized teachers teach classes with fewer students than is typical, and a broad and balanced curriculum is presented using engaging and innovative teaching methods.
Our children feel secure and content during class, recess, and a variety of extracurricular activities that take advantage of our first-rate athletic, dining, and theatre facilities.
