In the fall of 2019, the Ethos group collaborated with faculty, governors, and parents to create the school's vision and secure a new motto. SPROUT NOURISH GROW. Our connection school, the Brain Trust School in Uganda, is still supported by us. The Ethos organisation is raising money to buy mosquito nets, which will be given to families in the neighbourhoods where Brain Trust School and a nursery are located. The week beginning November 25, 2019, playtimes will sell hands of friendship for 30p. With Gerry, these notes will be delivered to Uganda, and the money raised will be donated to this admirable cause. Our new Ethos Group has already been very busy under going training on the role of Ethos Group and promoting Christian distinctiveness throughout school. Fall semester After autumns Christian Values Day that was themed 'putting on an attitude of gratitude', we collected every child's card of thanks to add to 'the coat of gratitude.' The completed piece is displayed below, nicely modelled by Ethos groups Eden! This semester, we also examined classroom reflection spaces and provided teachers with some beneficial advice on how to improve their classroom reflection spaces. .
