Marcham has had a primary school since 1870. The original school was located somewhere else in the community and outgrew its Victorian structure over time. On March 29, 1966, the school finally completed the "great move" across the town to the current structure, which was hailed at the time as "clever, fresh, and appealing." Since then, the school has kept evolving and changing. We were thrilled that an additional classroom was created in 2009 to suit the increasing number of students, in addition to adjustments to the internal layout and organisation. In 2011, changes were also made to the front entrance's access and security systems. With numbers anticipated to rise within the next few years, we haven't finished yet.. We offer a dynamic curriculum that values and recognises every child. Throughout the years your child is with us, we offer a wide range of opportunities for him or her to grow and learn the abilities, expertise, and qualities required for the future. We also provide many experiences both inside and outside of our village community to help kids find their place in a vibrant, global society. Being a small school, we take pride in getting to know our students' families. We take our distinctiveness as a Church school seriously and value the quality of the relationships within our village community, including that with our local church, All Saints'. We consider ourselves to be world citizens who are passionate about doing everything in our power to improve the state of the globe. 2018's OFSTED rating for the institution was Good. Additionally, we were inspected by the Church of England Inspectorate (SIAMS) in June 2017 and received an overall grade of Outstanding. We are dedicated to collaborating with you to give your child a rich, interesting, and varied education, and I hope that after looking over our website, you'll want to stop by and see us. To make an appointment, ring or e-mail Jane Jefferies in the office, and we will be delighted to arrange a visit for you.
