From the Long Ridings Primary School
Greetings from Wayne L. Harris, B.Ed. (Hons), NPQH, the school's headteacher. After serving as Head of another Essex elementary school for five years, I came to Long Ridings in September 2006. Since 1989, I have worked in Essex public schools. I hope this website provides you with some useful information about our work and facilities if you are new to Long Ridings or considering sending your child here. If you are a pupil or existing parent, I hope it proves to be a useful way of finding information, activities and links to enhance your partnership with the school. Keep coming back since we frequently post updates. At Long Ridings Primary School we encourage and develop the whole child intellectually, physically, emotionally, morally and spiritually, to achieve his or her full potential within a forward-looking, stimulating and secure environment. In order to help kids succeed and to prepare them for the chances and experiences of adult life in a culturally varied, ever-changing society, the school works closely with parents. As you can see from the picture below we are fortunate to have extensive, unoverlooked and secure grounds, which offer excellent facilities for sport, recreation and educational activities.
