School Info

The London Oratory School is a Secondary, Boys, Roman Catholic school located in Greater London, London.

It has 1374 students from age 7-18 yr with a student-teacher ratio of 10 : 1.

From the School
With yet another year of outstanding GCSE results, we are overjoyed.
Overall, the numbers slightly outperform last year's already outstanding set of stats.
Nearly half of all grades, including those in math and English, were recorded at 7-9, which translates to an A*/A in "old money," and nearly one in five students received five or more Grade 8s or higher. Additionally, more than two thirds of students received grades of 6–9 (A*–B), and 83% had a Grade 5 or higher.
Such an accomplishment is a fine testament to the aspiration, sweat, and inspiration of our highly dedicated staff and pupils alike when considered in the context of comprehensive intake, the rigorous intellectual demands of the reformed examinations, the unapologetically academic curriculum of our School, male performance relative to female performance, and performance in relation to national benchmarks.
In a more challenging intellectual environment, school performance continues to defy national trends with an A*/A rate of 35%, both in terms of outcomes and offer.
These outcomes are a wonderful testament to the bravery, dedication, and hard work of both teachers and students.
Although the overall picture is impressive, there were also some outstanding individual scores, with just under 1 in 6 of our students receiving a "full house" of AAA or above.
Many students are in a position to accept offers for the most difficult degrees at prestigious universities, including Oxbridge.
