Thank you for visiting Manor Leas Junior Academy! Our school provides a dynamic setting for education and personal development. Because of our strict standards and quiet environment, every student in the school has a great desire to learn. All academic subjects are where our kids shine. Through the 'mastery' approach to teaching mathematics, new and innovative approaches to reading and writing, providing up-to-date technology and IT facilities and an emphasis on scientific enquiry, our pupils are keen to achieve highly and do their best. By teaching subjects that are applicable to everyday life, such as The Fiver Challenge enterprise issue, we continuously examine the curriculum to ensure that our students are engaged and driven to succeed. In addition to our success in the classroom, we also excel in sports and value drama in our school. We recently performed The Tempest, Oliver!, and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat as a full school. Numerous students learn a variety of musical instruments throughout the school, and you must hear our kids sing to believe it. A wide range of other extracurricular activities are also available, such as residential trips for students in grades 4 and 6, football, swing ball, choir, ICT clubs, and more. I am looking forward to meeting you and showing you around our lovely institution.
