The students at Leighton Primary School are all aware of their worth and the contribution they make to the school. These guiding principles strengthen the principles we uphold every day as we educate and communicate the values we want our kids to exhibit in their actions and attitudes at home, at school, and in the community. We really feel that by consistently strengthening and demonstrating these behaviours to the kids, we are preparing them to succeed in all facets of life and have confidence in their own abilities. Being positive role models for the kids in the school helps us to set a good example for them. Each residence is in charge of advancing its primary value. Each Friday, the number of points each house has can be found on the home page. Every Friday afternoon during Celebration assembly, the students are informed about the week's winners. Each half-term, the winning house gets to take a vacation. Reception, Years 1, 2, and 3 visit Big Sky, while Years 4, 5, and 6 visit Stamford Pool. Each youngster has been given a badge to wear that identifies the home to which they belong. These principles will aid the kids' academic growth and personal development. A new value will be recognised in school each month. The use of the language of values in daily life, at school, and at home will be modelled for kids. Children will receive house points if they demonstrate that they have applied the value effectively and that it has caused a change in their behaviour or attitude. The school's students, faculty, and parents selected the values.
