At Leicester High School for Girls, we focus on developing the full potential of girls ages 3 to 18.
Although Leicester High School is among the academically top-performing schools in the nation, this is just one part of what the school has to offer.
One of our unique characteristics is that we teach girls constantly from the time they enrol in our Early Years at age 3 until they graduate from the Sixth Form as confident, well-rounded young women who are ready to compete in the 21st century.
The essence of what makes this school unique is its Christian culture, and we welcome students of all faiths and none.
Girls are taught to uphold the traditional ideals of integrity, self-reliance, and responsibility as well as to have strong moral principles and behavioural guidelines along with an awareness of other people.
A progressive curriculum strikes a balance between these traditional values and the girls' complete preparation for university and beyond.
At Leicester High, girls are free to be themselves.
Education in a setting with only girls has a lifelong positive effect.
Your daughter will grow into a confident and capable young woman with the academic and life skills to reach her potential thanks to our pastoral care, broad extracurricular programme, and the many opportunities we offer her to explore the "real world" outside the school gates.
You can only get a taste of what makes Leicester High School for Girls unique via this webpage.
I'd want to sincerely invite you to come see what the School has to offer in person.
