From the Lawn Manor Academy
Our school has a supportive environment where students can make decisions in a safe, secure setting. We anticipate that teachers will differentiate their planning so that students can benefit from a more individualised learning experience. All students are able to make informed decisions about their future academic courses thanks to the KS4 curriculum. We provide a variety of activities to provide students the chance to participate in enrichment activities in which they are interested, but we plan to expand on this idea. By educating students on the value of e-safety at assemblies, Personal Development Days, ICT/Computing lessons, and frequently hosting visits from outside organisations, such as the Police, we support students in making safe decisions in their lives outside of school. Additionally assisting students in making safe decisions are our highly skilled Student Support Team and efficient safeguarding procedures. Students at Lawn Manor Academy feel supported if they have any issues and the school actively fosters an anti-bullying culture. Students gain from an efficient IAG programme and are encouraged to think about their options for continuing their education, finding job, or getting training once they turn 16. The introduction of curricular days for personal development helps students think about concepts in greater detail.
