From the The Langley Academy
"Students conduct really well, exhibit great levels of cooperation, respect, and courtesy, and collaborate with their professors and fellow classmates very successfully." This fosters a wonderful learning environment. Ofsted. Students have excellent attitudes about learning, which is largely due to excellent teaching and supportive interactions throughout the entire academy. Ofsted. Year 7 applications due September 2020 - The TLA registration form and your council's application form both have a deadline of October 31, 2019. At the Academy, we think that students attend classes to learn and succeed so they can lead rich and fulfilling lives. We aim to provide children the tools they need to make positive contributions to their family, neighbourhood, and the larger community. Each of our kids departs with a set of outcomes they can be proud of thanks to the hard work of the staff, governors, trustees, parents, and carers. We put a lot of focus on giving students opportunity to grow in confidence within and outside of the classroom so they can pursue their academic and personal interests. Our school's motto of "Curiosity, Exploration, and Discovery" guides teachers and support personnel in their efforts to satisfy the requirements of every student within a comprehensive and well-balanced curriculum. All students are expected to be fully prepared and engaged in their education in return. Everyone may benefit from classes, activities, and unstructured time when there is an agreed-upon set of ground rules that are established and based on respect. The academy is a secure place to learn and develop, as any of our students would attest to. I am very proud to be part of such a warm and cohesive staff that supports and promotes the achievement and wellbeing of all children who attend here.
