From the Land of Learning Primary School
The Land of Learning had modest beginnings. We started out as a simple nursery in a terraced house. Beginning in 2007, the nursery swiftly grew to include both a morning and an afternoon nursery. The nursery was so well received by parents and the neighbourhood that moving on to a school was pressed upon. The choice was taken to construct a purpose-built school for the Primary school, which was located at Stoughton Drive North. Work on the project started in the summer of 2010, and two years later, 63 students and classes from Nursery to Year 2 moved into the building. Alhamdolillah, with the help of the neighbourhood and a great team, we were able to expand this into a complete primary school with more than 200 students. We take great pride in upholding the highest standards in everything we do, and we expect our children to leave us with a well-rounded education that will enable them to contribute as Muslims to British society and have a positive influence on the globe.
