From the The Lampard Community School
A special school called Lampard Community School is located in North Devon.
With speech, language, communication, and interaction requirements (SLCN) and performance far below age-related expectations, we provide care for children aged 5 to 16 with complex needs.
Our school wants all of its students to graduate and live as independent, contented, and happy lives as adults as they can, and to acquire as many of the necessary skills as they can while they are with us.
Our committed team of teachers and staff help our students become as functional and independent as they can be through our skills-focused curriculum.
Students think that school is a "pleasant environment" for them to learn and that they love going there.
2017 July Ofsted.
Our dedication to ensuring that student outcomes keep improving was noted in the most recent Ofsted assessment.
Although our kids have a variety of requirements, they also have a wonderful blend of skills, passions, and personalities.
Children and young people are cared for, appreciated, challenged, and helped to attain their full potential while learning with us because we are dedicated to ensuring their safety and promoting their welfare.
Our year 11 students are more self-assured, many are a great deal more autonomous, and they are well-prepared to take on new possibilities and challenges when they leave Lampard."
The students are ready to move on to the next level of their study."
