I am Fiona Grieveson, the principal of Kingsbury Primary School, a special institution for children with general learning disabilities. For five years, we have successfully shared space with our partner school, the mainstream elementary school Brookfield Park School. There are several possibilities for kids from both schools to combine work and play. We participate in a number of cooperative activities all year long, including winter pantomimes, visits from cultural organisations, and a variety of fundraising initiatives. The kids gather to take part in an inclusive environment. We cater to the needs of students with statements ages 2–11. We now serve students with a variety of learning disabilities, including those with Complex Learning Difficulties and Disabilities, Autistic Spectrum Disorders, Significant Learning Difficulties, and Moderate Learning Difficulties. The "Generic" nature of our population is continually expanding. According to the Ofsted report from our most recent inspection in October 2013, we are a "Outstanding" school where "all groups of students achieve outstanding development" and "pupils truly enjoy going to school." We invite you to visit both our school and website to learn more about us and the services we offer to our students. For further information, kindly peruse this website.
