I am pleased to welcome you to The King's School on behalf of the faculty and staff.
My appointment as Head of School and other significant appointments within my Senior Leadership Team are the results of the school's recent considerable change.
The idea of being able to increase the young people of Pontefract's opportunities in life excites me sinceramente.
We are firmly on the path to become an outstanding school, having already earned the Ofsted rating of "Good."
It is fair to say that the way the school runs has changed significantly as a result of the new procedures we have put in place.
Although The King's School consistently ranks among the top schools in the Wakefield Authority, please know that our goals extend far beyond the neighbourhood.
Not for recognition or prizes, but rather to help all of our children reach their full potential, it is our goal to be one of the top performing schools in the country.
We are dedicated to improving teaching and learning so that we can give every student a top-notch experience.
Everything we do revolves around our pupils, and we feel it is our responsibility to realise their potential.
The King's School has long been a vital part of the neighbourhood, and we look forward to building on that reputation by working with students who are self-assured, eloquent, and who reach their full potential.
