The school, which was formerly a Local Authority school, replaced two different Victorian buildings when it was opened in 1986 to meet the demands of an expanding community.
A nursery unit with its own play area, ten classrooms connected to shared activity spaces, a library, a small group room, and a music and drama studio were all included in the newly constructed structure after additional extensions were made in 1995.
Additionally, the school has excellent kitchen amenities, and on-site food preparation guarantees fresh and nutritious selections.
Our Academy is a member of the DNEAT multi-academy trust (Diocese of Norwich Education and Academies Trust).
The Church of England schools in our diocese have always been dedicated to cooperating and carrying out their Christian mission as organisations.
While firmly believing in autonomous schools that are adequately accountable and focused on delivering the richest learning environments for their students, DNEAT offers tremendous professional opportunities for interschool collaboration.
Along with the larger community, we have forged deep ties with our local church in particular.
Our neighbourhood wildlife park, Africa Alive, has a tight relationship with the school for educational and recreational purposes, and the kids have named several of their classes after some of the creatures there.
Although we are still in our infancy as an academy, we are conscious of the fact that we are continuing to offer chances and education to the kids of Kessingland.
Be proud of our work and our school, please.
We are grateful for the chance to aspiration, pursue our ambitions, and fly high.
