Being the headteacher of this charming little school located in the scenic and storied North Wiltshire countryside makes me feel extremely privileged. We are a voluntary aided school located in the Salisbury Diocese and are located in the village of Lockeridge on the Marlborough Downs. In four classrooms, we have about 80 students enrolled who range in age from 4 to 11 (Reception to Year 6). Kennet Valley is a very distinctive school, and we extend a warm welcome to all visitors. We strive to raise children who are self-assured, compassionate, forward-thinking, and inquisitive and who will succeed on their chosen career routes. Please get in touch with the school administration to set up a visit; guests frequently remark on how welcomed the kids make them feel. I am honoured to work with passionate teachers and TAs, and to work with a governing body who are committed to moving the school forward, whilst keeping the strong Christian ethos that we have. We firmly believe that every child should feel valued, and we make every effort to ensure that students leave the school at the end of Year 6 as self-assured, joyful people.
