From the Joseph Turner Primary School
Being the head teacher of Joseph Turner Primary School makes me feel incredibly proud. We firmly think that the focus of all we do should be on children and their families. Our results have been better than ever in recent years. At our school, students advance more quickly than the national average. Our entire staff is committed to boosting standards and enhancing our kids' chances for a successful life. You can count on my very best effort in return because working with my coworkers and students at this school is incredibly fulfilling. We have a brand-new, aspirational senior leadership team and a school that is fast improving. We continue to be rated as "Good" in all areas by Ofsted (May 2018). We now want to be "Outstanding." "Leaders have high standards for both employees and students. Since the previous inspection, this strong leadership group has been a key factor in the school's sustained improvement ". May 2018: Ofsted. We take pleasure in our relationships with organisations that support learning and wellbeing, our interaction with parents and carers, and our efficient pastoral and academic advising and assistance. Children at Joseph Turner are "hungry to learn and proud to excel," according to our mission statement. To ensure that every kid reaches their maximum potential, we have high expectations for all of them and encourage them to motivate one another by sharing their own ambitions, hunger for knowledge, and love of learning. Our aim is to be the best school for our pupils so that we can equip them with the skills, knowledge and attitudes to become lifelong learners. We are very proud of Joseph Turner Primary School and we encourage you to visit us so that you can see us in action and we can answer any questions you may have.
