Welcome to the Centre for the Deaf's James Wolfe Primary School. The National Maritime Museum and the Cutty Sark are both nearby our school, which is situated in the heart of the Royal Borough of Greenwich. We have four Reception classes (students aged 4–5) and a part-time childcare for kids as young as 3. Year 1 students (ages 5–6), Year 2 students (ages 6–7), and Year 3 students (ages 7–8) make up Learning Phase 1. Year 1, Year 2, and Year 3 each have four classes. Year 4 students (ages 8–9), Year 5 students (ages 9–10), and Year 6 students (ages 10–11) make up Learning Phase 2. There are currently two classes in Year 6, three courses in Year 4, and three classes each in Years 5 and 6. We provide specialised services for up to 15 Deaf students throughout our school. Our deaf children are taught in a combination of specialty and regular classrooms. With all students and staff members learning British Sign Language, our entire school community is a vibrant signing environment. We always look forward to welcoming guests to our school.
