It gives me great pleasure to extend a warm welcome to you to James Calvert Spence College, which enrols pupils in kindergarten through the sixth form. Choosing the right school for your child is one of the most crucial decisions you will have to make as a parent. It must be the ideal setting for them and staffed with kind individuals who share the same optimistic outlook on what makes a school special. This and other things can be found at James Calvert Spence College. We have high expectations for each of our students and demand that they demonstrate grit and a drive to succeed, in exchange for which we provide unwavering support during their time with us. We provide a wide selection of GCSE, A-Level, and vocational subjects in Key Stage 4 and the Sixth Form to ensure that everyone has a meaningful path into higher education, additional training, or employment. Our results have significantly improved in recent years, and in 2016, 96% of our Year 13 students received a university acceptance or moved on to their preferred course of study, career training, or employment. The college's governors and staff are dedicated to its ongoing growth and development so that it can continue to offer all students the highest-quality education possible. We recognise how crucial it is for us to be at the centre of our community and are delighted to serve the young people of Amble and the surrounding area.
