Additionally, we place a high importance on honesty, diligence, maturity, and responsibility as well as the care and consideration exhibited to others.
It is a secure environment where you can feel supported, trusted, and believed in.
We develop trust by being dependable, accountable, and truthful with one another and with others.
The basic British values of democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty, and respect for people of all religions and beliefs must be promoted in all schools, according to the DFE.
In the Prevent Strategy from 2011, the government defined British values and provided new instructions for schools to abide by in 2014.
British values are planned for and taught at Ivegill CE School through a comprehensive and balanced curriculum.
Students can take charge of assemblies, participate in creating class rules, and answer surveys for other students.
Rules' objectives (for classes, schools, and countries) are discussed.
The school's behaviour policy specifies the system of incentives and sanctions as well as defined expectations and limitations.
Students at our school are actively encouraged to make decisions because they know they are in a secure, nurturing atmosphere.
With the help of classes on e-safety, PSHE, and RE, students are encouraged to comprehend, know, and exercise their rights and personal freedoms.
Pupils are given the flexibility to make decisions through involvement in extracurricular activities or by choosing how to complete a home study assignment.
Our school's objectives are strongly rooted in respect for ourselves and one another.
Children discover that their actions have an impact on both their own and other people's rights.
Children respect and appreciate what each person brings to the school community.
Each class and at communal worship express their respect for the individuality and worth of each person.
Through a variety of learning experiences, children have the chance to investigate both their own faith and beliefs and those of others.
In our largely monocultural community, we supplement the curriculum with trips to various places of worship, donations to charities that address a variety of problems, assembly themes, an Indian culture day, music from around the globe, RE topics, and exhibitions.
