From the Islamia Primary School
Due to the school's well-known celebrity founder Yusuf Islam (Cat Stevens), who founded the school 36 years ago, we are the first Islamic faith-based voluntary aided school in the UK.
At Islamia Primary School, we place a strong emphasis on giving students a well-rounded education and making sure they meet the highest academic requirements in all disciplines covered by the national curriculum.
Our extensive, well-rounded, and interconnected curriculum equips students with the knowledge, comprehension, and skills in a variety of topics.
Our students gain a solid understanding of the Islamic religion and other faiths through our religious and values-based curriculum, free from distortion, misunderstanding, or extremism.
We place a great emphasis on principles and put a lot of effort into raising kids who will behave admirably, be disciplined and well-prepared for secondary school and life in contemporary Britain.
Islamia Primary School is a unique setting where educators, parents, and students collaborate to build a warm, loving community where kids can grow in self-assurance and happiness within a safe environment of high standards and academic performance.
