The settlement of Ingoldsby is a rural neighbourhood east of the B1176 between Grantham and Corby Glen and west of the A15, which runs from Lincoln to Peterborough. Ingoldsby and Lenton are the nearest settlements to the school. The school accepts students from beyond the area and serves the communities of Ingoldsby, Lenton, Hanby, Keisby, Osgodby, Boothby Pagnall, Bitchfield, Westby, and Bassingthorpe. Students who live more than two miles from the school and for whom Ingoldsby is the closest primary school are eligible for free transportation to and from school. The Head Teacher can provide you with more information and application forms for free transportation. Ingoldsby Primary School was established in 1877 and serves mixed-age students from 4 to 11 years old. The school also has a nursery that accepts students as early as 3 years old. Friendly and committed staff members work in our nursery area to ease children into school life and make them feel secure and prepared for the move to Reception. Every child's experience is carefully crafted to be joyful, engaging, interesting, safe, and supportive of their learning and development requirements.
