From the Ickworth Park Primary School
Greetings from Ickworth Park Elementary School.
Following the reorganisation of Suffolk Schools in September 2016, the school became a complete primary school and now serves students aged 4 to 11 years old.
Our curriculum reflects our shared conviction that proficiency in literacy and mathematics is essential for success.
School is about more than just reading and math, and at Ickworth, we offer lots of other chances to broaden kids' horizons.
Mrs. Hunt was subsequently named a Cultural and Arts Leader in Schools and Academies. (We have an arts week every year where kids are exposed to a range of arts media through school performances that they both watch and take part in.
Every student in our school receives instruction in music as well.
Every student in KS2 studies a musical instrument every year.
Additionally, we provide a wide range of after-school programmes that are constantly changing so that kids can try out sports and fitness activities.
We employ three certified ELSAs (Emotional, Literacy, Support Assistants) to assist with kids on a range of mental health and wellbeing issues.
Everyone is encouraged to come along and support, either by helping out or by attending an event, as our PTA is very active and plans a variety of entertaining fundraisers throughout the year.
The PTA has helped the school by funding the purchase of books for our school library renovation project.
