The leadership group of Huntingtree is made up of eight members.
In September 2016, I started working at Huntingtree.
I arrived in 2009 and spent seven lovely years there as the school's deputy headteacher and acting headteacher (twice), striving to help the institution transition out of Special Measures and into a good school by the time I departed in July 2016.
Huntingtree is a school that is developing quickly and improving daily.
The staff at Huntingtree has been working incredibly hard to enhance each child's educational experience since the school was correctly graded as Requires Improvement for the second time in a row by Ofsted in June 2016.
Our dedication was acknowledged at the most recent Ofsted inspection in February 2019, and as a result, we are now considered to be a good school.
The Ofsted verdict does not grant us the right to coast along and take it easy now.
We are even more committed to improving our school and giving the students who attend it the greatest and most enjoyable education we can.
Our goal is to keep creating a school environment where each child is known, content, and learning.
Learning in a setting where there are no barriers to success and no punishing ability groups, and where all lessons encourage unrestricted advancement.
studying at a place where instructors enjoy what they do and where classes are enjoyable.
Learning a diverse curriculum that is tailored to their requirements will provide them the knowledge and skills they need to succeed in the future.
We have enhanced all parts of safeguarding across the school in the short time we have been together, allowing parents to be confidence that their children will be safe during the school day. More information about these improvements may be obtained by clicking the Curriculum tab.
We have completely redesigned our assessment processes to provide instructors with as much diagnostic data as possible, and we have worked relentlessly to cut workloads to free up teachers' time for their primary responsibility of creating excellent courses.
In order to provide a space that supports good teaching, we have also made a number of alterations to the school building, and we will soon relocate to a new Early Years and Infant building.
We are a group of sincere individuals working to make things better every day. We are always open to hearing good suggestions about how to do so.
I hope you enjoy visiting our website and get a sense of what our school is all about.
