Hunloke Park Primary School

I would like to extend a warm greeting to you on behalf of the Governors, faculty, and students at Hunloke Park Primary School. I am incredibly proud of our school and the neighbourhood that surrounds and supports the kids that attend our setting as headteacher. We are a medium-sized primary school that serves pupils between the ages of 4 and 11 and is located in the charming Derbyshire village of Wingerworth. This year, the kids worked hard to develop a mission statement that captures the spirit and principles of our school (please check the "Home" page). They did this in collaboration with the class teachers and governors. We make sure that kids are challenged in all they study at school and that all of their accomplishments—whether they are related to sports, academics, or hobbies—are recognised and appreciated. Learning is enjoyable, and our qualified teachers make sure that courses are delivered in a way that encourages kids to make connections between subjects. This in turn encourages a passion of lifelong learning, which is something we believe is crucial for our next generation to cultivate as they look to the future. We are known for being a caring institution. Everyone on staff agrees that we must teach the whole child, making sure they are content and prepared to study while they are at school.
