From the Holy Trinity CofE Primary School
Jo Herrero, the headteacher, extends her welcome. Discover a cutting-edge institution with a rich historical legacy where learning is captivating for both kids and adults. You are cordially invited to Holy Trinity Church of England Primary School, which was established by the most popular church in England.
We take great pride in our history as Stratford's oldest primary school and our special ties to the church where Shakespeare was both baptised and interred. Our school's motto, "Rooted in Faith, we Reach for the Stars," permeates everything we do.
Our school is buzzing with excitement, which is made possible by our rich, comprehensive cross-curricular activities, engaging (and occasionally inventive) teaching, and an aspirational culture where our ambition for the school is infinite.
Our kids have performed on one of England's most renowned stages, the Royal Shakespeare Company's theatre.
With the neighbourhood grammar and secondary schools, we have developed strong relationships and are developing educational initiatives.
We are passionate about making learning fun for kids, but we also believe that the adults who educate them must adopt this culture.
Therefore, in order to find best practises, our staff members visit some of the top schools in the nation. They then return with the intention of improving upon what they saw.
We even took use of some of our personal vacation time to visit a number of excellent international schools in Europe and Latin America. These include Marymount School in New York City and Avenues School in New York City.
Sometimes during professional development hours (PPA), teachers visit art museums or galleries to get ideas for new lesson plans, or they go to book stores to read new children's books in order to bring new perspectives to the classroom.
Staff meetings after school are a stimulating opportunity for knowledge sharing and idea improvement.
Everyone is thrilled about the fantastic school's upward trajectory.
I've been a student here for just over two years. Standards have dramatically increased over the past two years and will keep rising yearly because to improvements in the curriculum and teaching strategies.
The great aspects of The Willows School that are at the core of our school were something we wanted to keep as our name changed.
