From the Holy Saviour Roman Catholic Primary School, Nelson
In order to serve the Holy Saviour Nelson parish, Holy Saviour School was constructed in 1970. It is a functioning institution with close ties to The Good Shepherd Parish, where we belong. In our neighbourhood, Holy Saviour has a long history and a positive reputation, and many of our current parents were students here too. Roman Catholics make up the bulk of our students, although we do accept those of other religions. Holy Saviour serves as a primary "feeder" for Colne's Ss. John Fisher and Thomas More High School. There are now 209 students enrolled in Holy Saviour, a one-form entrance school with seven courses overall. The teachers here are diligent and committed to giving each student a top-notch Catholic education. Our instructors are supported by a fantastic team of teaching assistants, administrative personnel, and lunchtime supervisors.
