Over just the past few years we have upgraded, constructed and renovated a vast percentage of our school: including but not at all limited to-

- A brand new library with thousands of books available for all students to borrow.

- Many new science labs have been constructed, forming an ideal space for all types of practicals

-Our technology classrooms have been renovated with new cooking and nutrition rooms as well as better product design workshops,

-And so much more! come to one of our designated annual open evenings to take a look for yourself! (dates at https://www.holmfirthhigh.co.uk/)

We also pride ourselves in the vast array of extra curricular activity's and trips + residentials on offer inside every single department. No matter the day of the week at lunch or after school, it is certain that there is some form of club or activity running for anyone to take part in!

Holmfirth High School Reviews

Amazing staff, fantastic corriculum, the perfect place for any student to grow and achieve. Teachers expect the best of every pupil yet do not push that through sanction and punishment but instead through, acknowledgement, rewards and a firm belief held by all staff that any student has what it takes to succeed.
Excellent teachers, support staff and curriculum. Wide variety of opportunities presented to pupils. Unnecessarily strict in some aspects but policies largely contribute to a safer and overall better learning environment
Really great school. So many opportunities beyond the curriculum and the teachers are generally great at what they do, and committed.
An amazing school! Brilliant teachers, curriculum and facilities! There are so many extra clubs, trips and activities too, running every week week to really push and prompt the pupils to excel but also do so while enjoying themselves.
A wonderful school! Amazing staff, brilliant curriculum and so many extra clubs and activities for the pupils to take part in! Highly deserving of it's outstanding ofsted rating.
