From the Hillview School for Girls
The Hillview School for Girls is a distinctive educational facility.
Our educational philosophy is based on giving students the freedom to pursue their interests and abilities while making steady progress in a variety of academic and foundational disciplines.
All of our pupils are able to pursue their passions in a secure and encouraging atmosphere thanks to our focus on the performing and visual arts as well as great achievement in a wide range of curriculum areas.
One of the broadest topic selections in the neighbourhood is available in our mixed sixth form, which also provides a number of specialised academic and vocational programmes.
All of our Key Stage 5 students are held to very high expectations, and we actively support their progression to higher education by guiding them through the application process and helping them build their transferable, personal, and independent learning skills so they can succeed in their subsequent studies.
Through various connections to the community and businesses, as well as fundraising possibilities, students grow in understanding of the neighbourhood.
Our brand-new Science HUB gives community members the option to attend lectures from leading scientists, supporting our students' research into highly academic, aspirational career pathways.
Our very active and committed PTA hosts a variety of events for both students and parents throughout the year.
As one of the highest achieving non-selective schools in Kent, with 61% of our pupils graduating with 5 A*-C including English and Math, the school is entering a new and exciting phase that will see it grow and flourish.
Together, as a school, we will create an exceptional facility for the future where students will actively participate in both their individual learning process and the growth of the entire institution.
I invite all parents to assist their children and the school by encouraging healthy learning behaviours and involving their kid in talks about their work. A student's successful advancement through the school depends on a strong collaboration and network.
