I am delighted to welcome you to the website for Highworth Combined School and Nursery. I hope this gives you a taste of the energetic, welcoming, and flourishing institution that is Highworth. Between students and adults, there is reciprocal respect and a very strong sense of relationships. Parents are aware of and appreciative of the high levels of care. Staff members are wonderful; they prioritise the children's health and education, according to one parent. One student remarked, "Teachers and elders make you feel comfortable." They always know how to make you feel better and what to do. During the course of my time here, I have worked with representatives of all parts of our community to develop and clarify this ethos. This approach led to the creation of "The Highworth Carr." It stands for the principles we uphold and will work to instil in our students as they move through our institution. We will be working harder over the coming weeks and months to improve our knowledge of what these principles sound like and look like for both kids and adults.

SEN kids are treated like second class citizens here. There is a toxic culture of lying, cheating and covering up that comes from the top management down through to staff . They wouldn't know how to tell the truth if it hit them over the head . Don't walk away from this school - run!!
