We are pleased to welcome you to the High Down Schools website, which serves as a wonderful illustration of how our vibrant schools work together as a community, recognises our accomplishments, and regularly updates information for both parents and students.
High Down is a cheerful location with a solid reputation as a compassionate, high-achieving school that offers a rich and stimulating education.
In order to assist their child's learning and development, parents are encouraged to collaborate closely with the schools as the first educators of their children.
The Infant and Junior Schools federated in January 2015, and since then, the two institutions have been working together to provide the greatest possible education for all of the students in both schools.
In 2016, High Down Schools became a founder member of the Lighthouse Schools Partnership.
The genuine identity of each school remains its unique, and LSP does not strive to standardise the cultures of its schools, despite the fact that our Trust values quality and collaboration.
The fact that each of the LSP founding schools had an Ofsted rating of good or outstanding is remarkable.
Believing, Achieving, Learning for Life is the school's motto.
Our goal is for our students to be enquiring and to cultivate a lifelong love of learning.
We want our students to leave our programme well-prepared, mature, responsible, and with the happiest memories possible for their time in secondary education.
