From the Heybrook Primary School
At Heybrook, we recognise that one of our privileges is to give kids the knowledge and interests they'll need to live happy, full lives.
Heybrook is happy that the school received a "Good" rating from Ofsted at the most recent inspection (in March 2018), and we are working to get there.
Heybrook opened its doors to the neighborhood's students for the first time in 1901, and while the façade of the structure is still mostly in tact, the classrooms and learning spaces are appropriate for 21st-century learners.
All 25 of our classrooms include interactive whiteboards, visualizers, and laptops that the kids may utilise to help them learn.
To ensure that the National Curriculum is taught effectively and engagingly, teachers collaborate in teams at the Foundation, Key Stage 1, Lower Key Stage 2, and Upper Key Stage 2 levels.
The wellbeing of the students and the execution of the curriculum are the responsibility of the class teachers.
By doing this, we can better utilise the skills of a big staff and raise standards for instruction and learning at Heybrook.
The IPLCN (Inspirational Professional Learning Community Network) is a group of schools working together to increase standards via collaboration, and Heybrook is one of such schools.
