The Harton Academy Sixth Form is pleased to provide a variety of excellent extracurricular and academic activities in its specially constructed sixth form building. Our instructors are knowledgeable in their fields, kind, approachable, devoted, and have experience working with teenagers. Since its debut in 2010, the Sixth Form has a strong history of academic accomplishment. Our inclusive sixth form, which allows all students to thrive and go on to good things in the future, allows us to be proud of the accomplishments of our students. Students make significant academic development from their unique starting points, and this progress has always been highly favourable. 48% of year 13 students who continued on to higher education in 2019 enrolled in Russell Group universities. Sixth Form life is vibrant, stimulating, and thrilling. Harton Sixth Form is a very popular both with current Harton students and each year we attract a significant number of students in Year 12 from other schools. We take great pleasure in our induction programmes for incoming Sixth Form students and the ongoing support you will get, so you can expect a warm welcome from us. You will be encouraged to take advantage of a variety of extracurricular activities that will improve your studies and experience in the sixth form. These will both enrich you as a person and help develop key transferable skills and qualities that are so vital in supporting your Post 18 applications, whether Higher Education, Apprenticeship or employment.
