I'm happy to welcome you to our website on behalf of Hallgate Primary School's students, parents/caregivers, staff, and governors.
Being the headteacher at Hallgate and guiding a staff that is dedicated to the welfare of kids and upholding high standards in everything we do makes me feel immensely proud.
We are dedicated to giving kids a secure, joyful, and encouraging atmosphere so they can flourish.
All of our efforts at Hallgate are focused on the kids.
While academic achievement is highly recognised, we also understand the benefits of a well-rounded education to help all of our kids become more independent and self-reliant, develop a sense of responsibility, and realise their own goals.
We put a lot of focus on helping students become "Super Learners" by promoting a positive learning mindset that gives kids the self-assurance and resiliency they need to be successful students.
Concentrate, don't give up, cooperate, have a go, keep developing, and enjoy learning are our six key talents.
Children should be interested in what they are studying, and we encourage a love of learning that will help them have high expectations.
However, you are more than welcome to come and visit Hallgate to see it for yourself, to watch us in action, and to meet the staff and kids.
In 2008, Hallgate Primary School was erected on the grounds of the former Infant School, directly across from St. Mary's Church in the heart of the community.
Every member of the staff at the school adheres to the school's philosophy and ethos and works to create a safe, nurturing atmosphere where each child is respected and loved.
