From the Grove Wood Primary School
We are committed to achieving and celebrating success for everyone at Grove Wood Primary School. We collaborate to present a curriculum that is engaging, demanding, and pleasant because we believe that a happy child is a successful one. We are dedicated to making sure that each child feels valued and to giving them access to high-quality learning opportunities so they can all succeed. We strive to give all of our students a great start in their education by collaborating closely with parents and the community. During the Prospective parent tours, small groups will, be shown around the school but, the focus will be more on the Reception classes with the opportunity to meet the Reception staff and ask any questions that you may have. Some of our Year 6 students will show small groups around during the Open Showcase Evening, along with staff representatives like class teachers, Learning Mentors, and the Leadership Team. This is more of an opportunity to speak directly with the children to find out what they think about the school and, of course, to ask more detailed questions of the staff. Furthermore, you can try school food and learn more about the Breakfast and After-School Clubs. Any event doesn't require reservations; just show up. You are free to go to as many events as you want and bring your kids to as many as you think they would enjoy.
