Grove Junior School

Since April 1, 2018, our two schools have been a member of The Whiteoak Academies of Hannah More Infants and Grove Juniors. Welcome to Hannah More Infants and Grove Juniors at Whiteoak Academies. The Hannah More Infant and Grove Junior schools are on the same campus and have a long history of collaborative cooperation. A significant milestone in the history of the schools' formal relationship was reached on March 1, 2012. Hannah More laid the groundwork for both institutions when she opened her first Sunday School in the neighbouring Tithe Barn in 1791. Hannah More wished to serve the local community in order "to benefit the Parish of Nailsea in its most important interest the education of the rising generations" and this lives on 220 years later in the strong partnership established through the federation. Being the Executive Headteacher of the Academies is an honour and a pleasure for me. We have engaged students, great teachers, dedicated governors, and helpful parents in each of our schools. Our goal is to constantly make sure that every kid feels content, comfortable, and confident in their school life and is well-prepared for the next stage of their education since we recognise that school days are such a crucial time for both children and their families. For our present families, the website is a helpful method to stay up to date on the most recent information, and we hope that it will give prospective families a general overview and a way to get in touch with us.
