From the The Grove Junior School
The Grove Junior School strives to be a creative, welcoming, and aspirational community. We take great satisfaction in our energetic environment, which provides the most curricular options and reflects our philosophy that creativity, inclusivity, and aspiration should be at the core of education. The school expects all employees and volunteers to share its commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. Jack from Year 3 Lilac Class created the logo as it is displayed above. We asked our children to design a logo which symbolised the ethos and values of our school, and which included our ethos words: aspiration, inclusion and creativity. The entries were judged by staff, governors and children and we all felt that Jack's hot air balloon, reflecting our school colours and rising high with children in its basket, encapsulated our message. The three words we selected to describe our ethos were carefully picked after much discussion among staff, governors, and students. We are now working to ensure that our ethos and the message of our logo shines through in everything that we strive to achieve at The Grove Junior School. Here are some further illustrations of various logos created by students at our school.
