This website seeks to provide current information for parents, students, and the larger community while also giving you a sense of the school.
While the Local Authority takes the lead in safeguarding children and keeping them safe, Great Oaks believes that everyone should share responsibilities.
We teach our students to be good citizens with a valued place in society because that is the only way Great Oaks can build a community where diversity and inclusiveness are cherished.
By taking part in the Neuro-Developmental movement programme offered by the Institute for Neuro-Physiological Psychology (INPP) at www.inpp.org.uk, our pupils' potential is unleashed.
Therefore, it is crucial that the transitions of our kids to Great Oaks Small School be handled at each child's unique pace.
All of our pupils will be able to learn and progress up the hierarchy of needs to self-actualization if their needs are addressed.
These objectives might not be accomplished during a student's time at Great Oaks, but every student will be aware of the benchmarks they must meet and will continue to work toward them when they transition into the workforce, further study, or higher education.
I am happy to inform you that I am an INPP licenced practitioner and can therefore assist your child on the aforementioned Neuro-Developmental Therapy (NDT) programme.
Children with certain learning disabilities and psychological issues may benefit from this non-invasive, drug-free treatment method.
Children with learning problems such dyslexia, dysgraphia, and attention deficiencies as well as social communication impairment, high anxiety, and autism spectrum disorder (ASD) may benefit from neurodevelopmental therapy.
In order to deliver the best educational experience, we are a team of highly dedicated teachers and support personnel who collaborate with students, trustees, employees, parents, and carers. We follow our vision and establish solid foundations for the future success of our students.
Our students graduate from Great Oaks as mature, well-rounded individuals eager to contribute to society.
I hope you enjoy browsing our website, but a visit to our school, which may be scheduled through the school office, is the only thing that can truly compare.
Come and meet us so you can witness the enthusiasm our team has for what we do and the accomplishments of our students.
