I'd like to extend a warm welcome to you on behalf of everyone at Grangehurst and thank you for visiting our website. We are a welcoming, compassionate school with high expectations for every student. Through a variety of engaging learning activities, both inside and outside the classroom, our kids are encouraged to explore, learn, and ask questions. The team works hard to create a serene and energising atmosphere where everyone models good behaviour and mutual respect and where everyone is respected. Every member of our school team, including staff and Governors, works tirelessly towards raising standards in reading, writing and mathematics, whilst holding on to our core values. Children's attitudes toward learning, the calibre and quantity of work completed, and annual progress all reflect the effects of this. OFSTED recognised our accomplishments during their visit to our school in January 2016. The inspectors gave the school an overall rating of GOOD with areas that needed improvement.
