Be a critical friend by making an effort to understand and ascertain how the school is conducted. The headteacher's or head of school's report will go over the school's adherence to the trust's ethos, vision, and plan. serve as the panel in reviewing the exclusions decisions made by the headmaster or head of schools of the school and other committees as required. to give the Academy Trustees the means to be active, build relationships with the neighbourhood, and provide a platform for the Trust board to communicate with the school, its parents, and the neighbourhood at large. The Board of Trustees must receive annual reports on member contributions and the results of the LGB. Create a venue where students can voice their opinions before the school adopts new policies and procedures. Make recommendations to the Trust board for raising the pay of the teaching staff. act as the panel in charge of disciplinary and dismissal decisions for both employees and students as well as salary issues. Each of the schools run by the Marches Academy Trust has a local governing body. When a Parent Governor's term ends, a Parent Governor resigns, or a school joins the Marches Academy Trust, elections for Parent Governors are held. The Parent Governor's obligations are covered in further depth in the Governance Handbook. If there are more candidates for Parent Governors than there are posts available, a vote will be held.
