With the most recent exceptional inspection, where we received grades 1 in every category, George Spencer has a reputation across the country for offering pupils of all abilities a high quality education.
George Spencer Academy became one of the first Teaching Schools in the nation in 2011 as a result of our outstanding track record of success and high calibre instruction.
The Spencer Academies Trust's lead school and education sponsor, George Spencer Academy, was appointed in 2012.
The George Spencer Academy is dedicated to giving all of its students educational opportunities that are completely equitable, and we think that educating the whole child is important.
The George Spencer Academy continues to play a significant role in promoting educational excellence by aiming to raise everyone's hopes, expectations, and accomplishments.
We are very much an outward-looking, successful academy that is a pioneer in school development.
Our academy is built on a solid foundation of support and growth for everyone, with the primary goal of generating engaging and dynamic learning opportunities so that every child can develop into an ambitious learner.
We have a non-teaching pastoral care assistant for each year group in addition to a dedicated learning manager who is in charge of academic success, personal development, and well-being in order to assist students.
Our top goal is the safety of children.
Along with constantly increasing internet safety measures, we include a lot of material in the curriculum related to anti-bullying, student health, and financial well-being.
We provide kids with numerous opportunities to be heard.
Along with a variety of Student Leadership positions, there is also a drop-in office for Student Voice and numerous surveys offered throughout the year for students to express their opinions.
We also anticipate that students will participate in school activities through our student leadership programmes.
All parents are welcome to join our FrOGS, give us comments, and participate in our Parents' Forum to help us form policy since we expect parents to be actively involved in school life.
