Gayton Junior School's Governing Board is made up of parents (two), employees (one), the headteacher (one), the local authority (one), and co-optees from the neighbourhood (12).
The team's primary responsibility is to collaborate with the head teacher in determining the future course of Gayton Junior School and how our school's budget will be allocated.

Support the headteacher while also holding her and the Senior Leadership Team accountable for enhancing instruction quality, student achievement, behaviour, and safety;
