From the Garforth Academy
The atmosphere at Garforth Academy is lively and stimulating.
By the time our young people have finished their education with us, we want to make sure that they are completely prepared and equipped to enter the competitive world of employment or higher study. We also want to enrich, guide, and assist them.
In order to empower students as they take on new challenges, we encourage individual learning.
We will provide students with the information, abilities, and fortitude needed to meet the highest academic, social, and personal standards.
We take pride in having high standards and exhort all students to be content, aspirational, organised, considerate, and encouraging of one another.
Fundamental to Garforth Academy is our ethos.
Every student will be required to get fully immersed in "Our 10 Core Values," which the academy believes every student should exhibit during their daily activities and are crucial to belonging to a community.
We want our students to achieve their full potential, take an active role in their society, be responsible and considerate of others, pursue both academic and extracurricular interests, and be ready for "living in the real world."
The tremendous advantages of being a part of the Delta Academies Trust are enjoyed by Garforth Academy.
We understand the value of effective teamwork and demand that all parties actively support the education and growth of our children, upholding the highest standards of conduct both inside the Academy and outside in the neighbourhood.
