From the Formby High School
Formby High School takes pleasure in offering a warm and welcoming learning environment. Our school's motto is "determined to accomplish," and with hard work and support, our students successfully fulfil that promise. We have an exceptional track record of performance at GCSE and A Level, and Ofsted recognises us as an outstanding school. In 2016, three-quarters of our GCSE pupils (including English and mathematics) earned five A* C marks, much exceeding the norm for the country. In addition, more than half of our A Level students got grades of A* to B, making Formby High School one of the top secondary schools in the area. Our children are encouraged to participate in a variety of community projects, extracurricular activities, field trips, and fundraising campaigns outside of the classroom in order to develop their confidence. They start to assume responsibility for constructing a better future for themselves, their peers, and the community outside of the school by doing this. Teaching and spiritual staff support the goals and aspirations of our students, and their personal growth is at the centre of everything we do. The positive acts and behaviours that motivate both students and faculty at Formby High School to succeed represent their shared desire to achieve the highest standards.
