From the Foreland Fields School
I'd like to extend a warm greeting to you on behalf of the students, teachers, and governors at Foreland Fields School. In February 2017, we relocated to the brand-new, purpose-built school. The school offers top-notch facilities for its guests, including specialised spaces and a hydrotherapy pool. On the dividing line between Ramsgate and Broadstairs is where the school is situated. Around 220 students with profound, severe, and complex needs, including ASD, are served by Foreland Fields School (Autistic Spectrum Disorder). Everyone working at Foreland Fields School believes that our pupils are entitled to high quality education and care, therefore maintain the highest standards at all times in order to ensure they achieve the best outcomes. Our programme serves as an example of how effective learning may occur both inside and outside of the classroom. Pupils are provided with an appropriate education which includes all academic requirements as well as an impressive range of additional enrichment opportunities. We collaborate with the neighbourhood college and offer off-site classes at the neighborhood's traditional primary and secondary schools. In November 2017, after its most recent inspection, Ofsted rated the school as "Good." They stated, "Our trips to the classrooms revealed the school to be a cheerful place, where students take pleasure in their education and make significant progress. Strong bonds exist between teachers and students, which helps students grow in confidence. Each member of the team is intimately familiar with the students and is well aware of their academic, social, and medical needs. I'm confident that when you look around the website, you'll see why Foreland Fields School is such a unique institution. Please feel free to make an appointment to come in and find out for yourself.
