Salutations from the PTFA Our Parent Teachers and Friends Association (PTFA), also known as Friends of Fairford Primary School, is open to all parents, educators, volunteers, and community people. The Friends of Fairford Primary School plan fund-raising activities, and the money raised from these events gives the school a sizable financial boost. Fundraising is vital, but so is bringing the entire school community together via pleasurable mutual cooperation and support. We sincerely hope you'll participate fully in these events. Contact details: Jenny Ransom and Susannah McKenzie serve as joint chairs. Secretary Catherine Elliott, and Sally Holland, as the treasurer Fairford PTF Association email: Facebook groups are available at this link: 350654785112783 The PTFA meets approximately every six weeks to discuss upcoming activities and decide how to use funds raised. At our most recent meeting, we decided to provide funds for the year six leavers' books, new playthings including balls, hoops, and floor chalks, as well as three theatre workshops for students in years two, three, and six. That works up to more than 1000 being given to the school, all of which was raised by parents and members of the neighbourhood at activities like the Christmas Bazaar, the Secrets Room, and the chocolate and toy tombola. I'm grateful. Happy days! The fundraising never stops, and your kids continue to gain from it.
