What's going on in December?
On Monday, November 25, Mrs. Sear orchestrated a fantastic excursion to the Houses of Parliament.
Actually, the main goal of what we do in school is to teach and learn.
I'm happy to inform you that staff will be testing a new marking and "feedforward" method (rather than feedback).
The new marking has had a significant impact on year 6, and after Christmas, we will trial it throughout the rest of the school.
Our entire workforce is firmly committed to this.
Please ask your child's teacher for further information if you are interested.
A new policy will be created and presented to governors after the trial is over.
Welcome Mrs. Cleaver as we're talking about our incredible employees.
Our yearly Christmas Fayre was held on Thursday, November 28 by our wonderfully generous PSA.
The PSA opted to host one significant Christmas event, the Winter Wonderland, in response to comments from parents.
On Friday, December 13, during the day, the PSA will also be in charge of the music and drama room's "hidden present room."
Your child is under no duty to visit the secret present room, but if they choose to bring money to spend, they must bring it to school in a labelled wallet or pocketbook because they will be accountable for it.
If we must close the school, which is extremely unlikely, we will notify parents as soon as we can by email, Twitter, the Hampshire County Council School Closures website, and local radio.
Please visit the school website if you want to learn more about the Fair Oak Family.
Alternately, show up at Parents in Partnership on December 11 at 9:15 am.
To reserve a spot, send an email to [email protected].
Have a tour around the school during the meeting.
Learn about the vision and values. At the previous PIPs meeting we talked about spelling.
Please read Mrs. Smith's information regarding spelling below.
The Fair Oak Family has contributed to numerous causes throughout this term.
I appreciate your help, especially with the Shoe Box Appeal.
